As usuall for a Copperfield show it is astonishing. We had the opportunity to have a picture with the Magician himself. Very cool but David could have been more chatty Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by Grymlot from Good, but Davis wasn't into it Cool show, but David's act seems so rehearsed that he wasn't all that into it. Instead of his voice inflecting up when explaining how he just did something amazing, it would stay a bit more monotone like he's said that phrase so many times that he just wants to get through it, and get through the show. Otherwise, cool show.
David Copperfield - An Intimate Evening Of Grand Illusion
Rated 5 out of 5 by Manny70 from This is a must see show. David Copperfield was very personable.
He walked around the aisles giving high fives to the audience. The story of his father was touching. His performance was unbelievable. He performed the illusions right in front of us. He is awesome!!!.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tarsam from Growing up favorite I grew up watching David Copperfield specials on TV with my family and finally got the opportunity to see him live which was exciting. The show was entertaining and his gift is still very much present. The alien part was a bit much but overall good. Cox describes it as a rabbit coming out of a rabbit hole. Morelli added that Cox was never warned that he could be injured in the illusion and wouldn't have taken part if he knew the risks. In "Lucky 13," the 13 participants were seated onstage inside a suspended cage, according to attorneys.
Then, a curtain was drawn completely around the cage to cover them. After a few moments, the curtain was pulled off and the participants were no longer on stage — only to reappear suddenly at the back of the audience. Some 55, people have been selected to take part in the act over the past decade that Copperfield has performed it, and there were no previous issues, the magician's lawyer said.
But Morelli claimed the audience didn't see the "chaos" that occurred behind the scenes. The participants were hurried out of their seats while the curtain was up and ushered through a secret passage of hallways and an outdoor area that led them back into the theater. It was then that Cox said he fell.
